Recent Additions - Grant for Coads Green Village Hall from CIL funds agreed. Planning applications for Battens Mill, land north west of Clampit Farm and at North Hill discussed. New Data Protection Privacy Policy agreed and available to download.
Grant applications from three local community groups were received and discussed at the Full Council meeting held on 1 December 2025 to view the decisions made select Grants under the Parish Council tab. At the Council meeting held on 5 January 2026 it was agreed to make a further grant of £1500 from CIL funds to Coads Green Village Hall for improvements to the play area. At the last Council meeting applications for repairs to Battens Mill roof, for an agricultural building to be constructed on land north west of Clampit Farm and at Ring O Bells, Glubhole Lane were discussed. There was further discussion of the application at Yellow on the Broom, North Hill which Cornwall County Council is minded to accept. The Council do not agree with this decision and are inclined towards taking this to committee. To view the councils response to all previous applications select Notice Board under the Parish Council tab and select Planning Applications. To view decisions reached on all planning applications in the parish select Planning Applications under the Parish Council tab. A new Data Protection Privacy Policy has been adopted and can be viewed by selecting Policies under the Parish Council tab. The latest quarterly planning newsletter from Cornwall County Council is now available at :Planning News for Local Councils and Agents (cornwall.gov.uk). Information regarding road closures in the parish this month can be viewed by selecting Notice Board under the Parish Council tab.
