At the Parish Council meeting held on 4 November 2024, the situation regarding grants for local Community groups within North Hill parish was considered.

At the Parish Council meeting held on 2 December 2024 it was agreed to award Coads Green Methodist Church £250 for grass cutting and Coads Green Village Hall £1000 for grass cutting, screen fencing and replacement of playground equipment.

March 2023

Resolved that £500 be awarded to St Torney’s Footpath Fund, Proposed by Cllr, D. Daniells, seconded Cllr C. Walters with all in favour. Coads Green Methodist Church application was agreed following a review of how much they had received in the past, at £250.00 with all Councillors in favour. £750.00 was awarded to Coads Green Village Hall for the car park maintenance required proposed by Cllr D. Daniells, 2nd Cllr C. Walters. One member of the public reported that this work was in progress. N.B. This grant was not awarded as retrospective items cannot be considered and suitable accounts were not furnished.

April 2022

Mr M Stephens has requested a Grant from the Parish Council to help with the Grass Cutting at Coads Green for £250. All Councillors are to support Proposed 1st Cllr A Parsons 2nd Cllr C Walters.

January 2021

Coads Green Social Centre have reapplied for the Community Grants from the Parish Council requesting £1067.94 to purchase 1 x Lockable Filing Cabinet, 1 HP Printer, 1x Meeting Room Table & Chairs, 1x Laminator, 1x Whiteboards and 4x Outdoor Planters. The Parish Councillors are happy to support proposed 1st Cllr B Ruby 2nd Cllr A Parsons with all Councillors in favour.

December 2020

Community Grant for Coads Green School 3 x iPad 1 x iPod and outdoor equipment, £1700.00 proposed 1st Cllr B Ruby 2nd Cllr R Randall with all Councillors in favour. - Community Grant Coads Green Social Centre, unable to fund due to the equipment requested is for maintenance. Councillors wish Clerk to Contact Mr Bain and explain and request a new grant.

December 2019

Coads Green P School wish to receive Grant of £700.00 for a Forest School and equipment. Coads Green FPTA wish to receive a Grant to help with funding towards heating a new classroom at £6000.00. Coads Green Social Centre wish to purchase equipment such as crockery, sports equipment, seating and storage £1191.15. North Hill Emergency Climate Group wish for a Grant to help with the 2-day Climate Change Fayre event which is to be held on 15th and 16th February 2020. Cllr C Marshall proposed 2nd Cllr M Stephens with all Cllrs in favour of the following Grants to be issued: Coads Green P School £700.00 Coads Green FTPA £500.00 Coads Green Social Centre £1200.00 North Hill Climate Emergency Group £500.00 – Cheque to be issued once Mr K Tharme has sent up a Bank Account.

December 2018

Coads Green Community Centre have requested £3529.00 for repairs maintenance and paint to Village Hall. Crockery for Village Hall £512.99. Supply and install hot water heater for kitchen £890.00 a total of £4931.99. Cllrs are happy to support Coads Green Community Centre by donating a Grant for the crockery and for the water heater in the kitchen £1040.00. North Hill Playgroup would like to apply for a grant for toys and an outside storage shed totalling £1500.00. Cllrs are happy to donate this amount. Coads Green School would like to apply for new dictionaries thesaurus and new camera costing £750.00.
